A part of Maine's Pine Tree Development Program, the Military Redevelopment Zone's area includes the MidCoast communities of Bath, Brunswick, Topsham, Harpswell, Bowdoinham, Richmond and West Bath.

    The program offers qualifying businesses the opportunity to reduce or even eliminate state taxes for up to ten years. The goal of this program is to promote quality job creation in targeted sectors such as:
